STEEL WOOL is a joy to watch and to listen to. Randy the drummer goes wild, shaking his long hair and wearing silly sunglasses. The bass girl TR Kelley puts down awesome grooves and rarely stands still. Sometimes she even joins the audience and dances while rocking her bass. Nel on percussion is fascinating to watch as she changes from one instrument to the other - including the African mbira. Her infectious smile and rhythm-intensive movement will inspire you to get off your seat and move yourself! And the lead singer and guitarist fully inhabits each and every song - lyrics that he offers from his heart to yours. You will remember this show for years to come.
They will be performing favorites like Fat Jesus on a Bicycle and My Country Fair, their newest mbira fusion tunes like When the Day is Done and You’re My Flower (included on their new CD), and their most rockin' electric guitar songs that will shake your body.
